Who we are

Giessen School of Theology (FTH) is the leading evangelical theological seminary in Germany. Currently more than 300 students are taught by nearly 20 professors. The entire faculty and staff are dedicated to making sure that you have the best experience for your future ministry.

Academic Programs

We are committed to academic excellence. Our curriculum is thoroughly Bible-centered because God’s Word deserves our utmost devotion. Our Biblical Studies department will give you the tools to work with the Hebrew and Greek texts, and our other departments build on that foundation: Practical Theology, including a variety of courses in expository preaching, biblical counseling, and Christian education, Systematic Theology, Ethics, Church History, Evangelism and Missions.

We offer the following fully-accredited degrees:

  • (European) M.A. (US equiv. M. Th.)
  • PhD (in cooperation with other seminaries)
